WHY? BECAUSE IT FEELS GOOD!

I listened to a TED talk this morning, called "How to Turn on Good."

It seems there are 3 ingredients!

  1. Be sure other people can see one's good deeds.
  2. Eliminate excuses.
  3. Tell people to do good.

How do we know this works? Because when we do them giving increases! People and organizations who are good at raising money and/or have people donate time and energy to their cause, know this and use it effectively.

Knowing this can give one feelings of being abused. Can have us call into question our charitableness. So what do we do?

We can use this little test. Ask ourselves would I be giving and doing, if no one ever knew I was doing it. Our answer will tell us all we need to know.

Have a wonderful day!
