It happened again! And we're sad.

We see someone who looks like she has everything to look forward to in life. Suddenly she opts out. She leaves behind a family who looked forward to her being around. And she's gone. We ask why? And no one answers. We'll never know.

Yet we don't need to have that answered.

We know all we really know!

She opted out!

The reason why won't bring her back.

So do we do nothing, save moan in sorrow?

Hardly!!!

There are 100 million things we could do.

There are 100 million opportunities that come our way every day!

And we miss so many of them!

If we could just slow down and maybe even come to a stop?

Then maybe we could see the opportunities!

Maybe, then we would do what will help someone say, "I can go another day!

I can see a little bit of hope!

Maybe, then that someone would have on the inside the smile they have on the outside!

There is a sign on the Church I pass daily.

It says," Be kind, Be generous, But most important, Be thankful."

This says do all three but if you only can do one, it's thankful.

I don't believe being thankful is the most important.

I believe God sees it differently.

God sees being kind and being generous as being thankful.

Using our time and resources for another is giving back and the highest form of thankfulness.

I could tell you of the many ways I know to be kind.

However, it's much more meaningful if each and everyone discovers their own.

So I challenge the reader to find 3ways of being kind that doesn't take much effort and post them in the comments, but only after you have done them .

Tomorrow more about kindness!

Have a wonderful day! Ted D.
