If only I could turn back the clock?

How many times in our lives do we find ourselves wishing we could turn back the clock?  Probably more times than we’d like to admit?  Why?

Because we didn’t see or get the result we were expecting!

If we could just go back, we’d do something different and have the result we wanted. But would we?

Let’s assume we could go back into the past would we be the person who has learned what not todo and to do what we need to do? How? After all, back there we haven’t learned the lesson since the situation to teach us hasn’t occurred yet.

But just suppose we could go back knowing what we know now? We do something different and yet the same result as before reoccurs.  We learn this second time, what created the result was completely outside of our control.

So maybe we are better off not lamenting the past. Instead to live in the present and use the lessons we have learned to help us enjoy our lives!
